And so it begins.
I've been an SCCM administrator for a few years now, and I have learned so many things along the way. I've done the 5-day training classes. I've spent days digging through official documentation. But the most helpful resource I've come across over those years has been the community of experienced professionals who freely shared their ideas, lessons learned, and incredibly awesome tools for the edification of newcomers like me. There are several truly fantastic blogs that I have turned to countless times. Without their open sharing of information and ideas, I wouldn't be the successful admin that I am today.
SCCM is surely an incredibly powerful platform, but it's not without its limitations. Over the years, I've bumped into my fair share of those limitations in my attempts to solve the day to day challenges that we SCCM admins are tasked with resolving. In many cases, I've used the ideas and approaches of others in this global community.
And in some cases, I've come up with a few unique ideas of my own.
With this blog, it's my hope to make a contribution back to the community that has been so vital to my own professional development.
